Note: Your extended health benefits may only cover massage therapy treatments. Please check with your insurance provider for further clarification. Some insurance plans offer employees flex dollars to be used on services such as gyms and spas.
• We are extremely diligent and pride ourselves on our punctuality, but please keep in mind that due to traffic, weather and other unforeseen circumstances your appointment may begin a little later than scheduled, this however will not affect the length of your treatment
• If this is your first experience with us, we kindly ask that you to fill out the Initial Health History Form which you will receive in your email shortly after booking your appointment. The accuracy of this form will enable your therapist to tailor your treatments with safety and great efficacy; whilst also ensuring your appointment can begin promptly upon our arrival
• Each and every treatment begins with an assessment component to help guide us to the cause of your discomfort, this will also allow for you to reap the benefits of a more focused and effective treatment
• In order to set up our table and be as effective as possible we require a free space that measures roughly 8ft’ by 11ft’, please have the area cleared prior to our arrival.
• Depending on the nature of your treatment, we may ask you to bring a pair of shorts and a t-shirt/sports bra or you can choose to be draped using fresh linen for a more relaxed approach
• Although massage is typically conveyed as a therapeutic and relaxing experience, deeper pressure can induce a greater degree of discomfort. You will be advised on a pain scale and other helpful markers to gauge your comfort level and help establish a safe, but effective pressure from your therapist. It is important to always keep in mind that this is YOUR treatment YOUR way, and your direct feedback is the single best method to guide us in the correct amount of pressure to use with each technique.
• If you begin to feel nauseous or light-headed, please notify us immediately.
• If you suffer from a chronic condition that may require a corrective measure, please have it handy (ex. Inhaler for asthmatics, sugar for diabetics)
• You may be tender 24-48 hours post care and this is a normal response to treatment, but please contact us should you feel any additional discomfort. Your well-being is our number one priority.
• We hope we have addressed any concerns upfront, however if you would still require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone, email or text.
