IG: Rotator Cuff Release… Your rotator cuff muscles comprise of the Teres Minor, Subscapularis, Infraspinatus and Supraspinatus muscles. All these muscles attach on/from your shoulder blade and attach onto your humerus (the long bone of your arm). Imbalance in any of these key shoulder players can dramatically affect performance in any of your daily activities. Ensuring proper functional form when sitting, standing, working out etc can limit the amount of strain experienced posturally. It isn’t simple to dictate which postural habits affect them the most, be it forward head posture, slumped seated posture, scoliosis etc etc the list goes on. The important factor is that your therapists can identify your blueprint and bring you into equilibrium under gravity’s forces + personal leisures. Ask more questions about your health. Be inquisitive about your body. Dare to know what direction your therapist is going with the treatment plan.
