IG: Muscle flossing. We all know the importance of flossing your teeth, flossing a nerve, flossing dollar bills…?? but more often than not I feel as though muscles do not receive the amount of flossing they need to move and perform freely within their connective tissue space, and in relation to their co-contractors. Stretching is one of the easiest yet hardest habit to implement into a training routine; but realize the disadvantage you place muscles in performance wise, when you deprive them their full range of motion. Therapists can also add to their treatment simple techniques such a lifting & sliding, rolling or anchor & stretch techniques to separate bound muscle fibres from surrounding connective tissue. #inquirewithin ?
