Shoulder Blade Stabilizers…
There are a complex group of muscles that affect the movement or position of your shoulder blade.
In this video, we are predominantly targeting the rhomboids, middle finger traps and serratus anterior.
The idea here is to bring awareness to those muscles, particularly the rhomboids and MFT that get weak overtime due to poor positioning.
It looks easy, but to keep this motion clean is harder than it seems.
Try this drill, aiming to keep your arm straight at all times, do not shrug your shoulders up when moving and focus all attention to your mid back muscles.
The protraction (punching forward motion) should drive mainly from just below the armpit to side rib area.
Try 5sets of 10 (Each arm position being part of 1 rep)
This is great before a good upper body session???? #selfcare
